Marti: Hi! I was just watching the Food Network
show "Unwrapped" and loved hearing the history
of the Krazy Straw and seeing your let's-have-fun-with-this
attitude. That encouraged me to show off our group's very
original work to you.
I'm VP of Long Island Bead Society in NY, and every year
we hold a Bead Challenge. We devise a concept and members
receive some beading component or other with parameters
that have to be followed, and they have to create a wearable
piece of jewelry with it. (Can you see where I'm going
with this??)
For our 2006 Challenge, we sent members 2 Krazy Straws
and said they had to make some jewelry out of one or both
of them. Those poor straws! They were boiled, baked, cut,
drilled, stretched, melted, re-formed - in a word, tortured!

My son (2) loves the Crazy Straw Heart cup and straw his
grandma got him for Valentines Day. Just a few ideas for
though: maybe make shorter straws for little kids that
curve up towards the mouth (little guys and gals like
to tip cups up)and I don't see anything related to vehicles.
You would have my hole family and friends as customers
for life if you would add cars, trucks, plains, etc. as
straws and cups. I wouldn't buy any other cup for either
of my kids. These are a great -inexpensive- gift idea.
